I ordered a Birthday cake for my wife and it was amazing. Jo was very accommodating with my requirements, and the cake exceeded my expectations. It was beautifully decorated and tasted delicious. I would definitely recommend Jo and would use her again. The sausage rolls supplied were delicious too.

I called this morning hoping that maybe a cake could be made for the next day, or maybe one would be already done to pick off the shelf kind of thing.
Now.. knowing how much time it takes to make a decent looking cake more that 24hours notice should be given. I understand this and respect it. To my surprise minutes after thinking maybe Jo would be fully booked she had personally texted me and suggested that I could pick one up by 4pm. I called originally about 9/10am ISH. So I quickly chose a cake that was realistic to the time frame she could manage and to my utter suprise she did it!
We won't officially be eating it till tomorrow so will update with a photo then.
What i will say is that it looks amazing! And I will certainly be coming back! I will also give her top marks for listening! An off the cuff comment I made about my daughter loving stranger things and she made a topper for the cake as a optional extra at no extra charge. I also made one with my 3d printer so haven't decided which to use yet.

Today I saw Jo at a event in ipswich . My brother was doing a sweet stall opposite and he said her food is really nice. I kept looking at the wonderful selection of cakes and pastries and gave in to temptation brought a selection to take home for the family everyone enjoyed then and also Jo's prices are very reasonable. Will be calling into your shop soon

Nothing was too much trouble for Jo, she managed to source some flowers to match my cake at very short notice, they really did set the cake off perfect 👌 i would highly recommend Jo's cakes to anyone for the most basic cake to the most intricate of cakes, her talents are second to none!! 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟I've had two occasion cakes from Jo and they've both been incredible! She has such a huge variety of sponge flavours and can do absolutely anything. Just send her a picture of what you want and you'll get it 😍 and she has really competitive prices, too. I'd never use another baker in Ipswich.
You have not had cake until you have been to see Jo. She has created some masterpiece cakes for my children's birthdays, come through with Christmas treats to impress the family and dropped of cupcakes at home just to brighten up a dreary weekend. There is nothing Jo cannot achieve through the magic of cake. The service is personal and heart felt, I cannot recommend Jo's Cakes enough.
We ordered an afternoon tea and it was absolutely delicious! We couldn’t finish all the goodies in one sitting so had it over two days and it was just as lovely the second day! I’d totally recommend Jo’s cakes and treats to everyone!

Ordered 6 Afternoon Tea boxes for my family over VE Day weekend.... WOW what can i say, the cakes were out of this world moist and yummy, the scones were divine. I'll be ordering a celebration cake in the near future, as soon as Boris says we can Party!!!!
Popped in while taking my daughter for a walk. Prices very reasonable for good quality baked goods. Lovely to see a new local business. Will come again.

I ordered a ipswich town chocolate cake for my husband's 70th birthday I can honestly say it was a beautiful cake everyone commented on it I would highly recommend jo. Thanks jo.

Had a giant Scone last weekend from Jo's Cakes. I can honestly say that it was the best I have tasted outside of Cornwall / Devon. Amazing and highly recommended.
Jo made the most Amazing Mariah Cake for a friends bday.. Tasted and looked amazing. Jo made sure we got exactly what we wanted ❤️
